FireStart
Brand Redesign & Visual System for an International Technology Company
FireStart is a Vienna-based technology company operating internationally across Europe and the United States. In order to support increased sales activity, team growth, and participation in global technology events, the brand underwent a visual identity redesign focused on scalability, consistency, and long-term use across digital and physical environments.
Challenge
When collaboration with FireStart began, the brand’s visual identity lacked clarity and cohesion. As the company grew, the existing design system was no longer able to support consistent application across platforms, resulting in fragmented communication across customer-facing and internal materials.
The challenge was to redesign the identity in a way that strengthened recognition, brought structure and consistency, and supported FireStart’s long-term evolving positioning—without losing continuity with what already existed.
Solution
The challenge was to redesign the identity in a way that strengthened recognition, brought structure and consistency, and supported FireStart’s future-facing brand positioning—without losing continuity with what already existed.
Alongside day-to-day visual production, a comprehensive brand identity document was developed to define principles, rules, and usage guidelines. This provided a clear framework for consistent implementation and future growth across markets.

Outcome
The redesigned identity supported a period of significant growth for FireStart. A more cohesive brand presence contributed to increased sales and helped position the company confidently in new markets Internationally.
As the organisation expanded, the visual system scaled alongside it — supporting the hiring of new team members and the brand’s growth across the UK, U.S., and DACH region. The strengthened identity enabled FireStart to present itself consistently at global technology events and conferences, reinforcing its positioning as a credible and established player within the industry.
